St. Louis Board of Police Commissioners Wins Landmark Arbitration
On Thursday, August 16, 2012, the St. Louis Board of Police Commissions and St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department prevailed on the first-ever arbitration between the Department and the St. Louis Police Officers Association.
In a 42-page landmark decision, Arbitrator Josef Rohlik determined that the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department did not abuse its discretion in awarding a homicide investigator position to candidates with less seniority than the grievant.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department was successfully represented by Andy Martone, Sabrina Wrenn and Rick Stewart.
