New Collective Bargaining Agreements in Adams County, Illinois

On May 13, 2014, the Adams County Board approved eleven collective bargaining agreements with three different unions. In addition to overtime cost reductions and 2% wage increases, these agreements require employees to begin paying for single coverage health insurance and offer a wellness incentive to reduce costs to both the employer and employees. An article about the Agreements in the Quincy Herald-Whig can be found here.

Rick Stewart acted as legal counsel and chief negotiator for the Adams County Board, Adams County Ambulance Board, Adams County Clerk, Adams County Recorder, Adams County Sheriff, Adams County State’s Attorney, and Adams County Treasurer.
